Death of my favourite craft punch

My most favourite craft punch, my tiny 6 petal flower craft punch......yang paling banyak berjasa dalam business aku nih....tiba2 jer decided to die today.....nasib baik sempat siapkan tugasan sebelum dia mati....tried to save it....but, looks like there is no hope after all.....huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu......... :((((((((((((( I was finishing up this pop up flowers when it suddenly broke....luckily I managed to punch out the last flower before it died. Gosh....what a way to die......

I bought this craft punch years ago....when I was first trying out to be a handmade card designer :P. I bought the cheapest one I could find and if you make cards yourself you would know that the smallest one is usually the least expensive on the rack. It is of good quality, but since it's been over used over the years, I guess it just decided to stop working.

If anybody knows me well, they would tell you that I would still keep it even though it's broken.....that's how much I treasure my stuff....ehehehehe......because I always think that someday I might find a way or a solution to repair it. LOL!

hm...mango dah beberapa kali beli puncher, dan sungguh kurang hasamnyer...sampai rumah bila test mesti berkecai dia punya parts. kalau tak berkecai pun stucked. so kena ketuk2 br dia terlepas...

maybe u should consider beli die-cutter?

Oh, Azlina, I'm so sorry!

You didn't mention how it died...is it actually broken, or will it just not cut anymore? If it just isn't cutting, you might be able to sharpen it by punching out some aluminum foil a bunch of times.

Sorry if this doesn't help. :(

Mango...maybe you can try buying craft punch from brands like Carla Craft and my favourite is from Sunlit. It's very sharp and never gets stuck. Die-cut machine is expensive to buy...but it's one of those things that I want to get someday :)Thanks Mango, I love that pop up too!

Sandi...yes dear...it's broken alright huhuhuhu...no amount of aluminium foil will help it now huhuhuhu...I'll just have to get me a new one, pronto!hehehehe!

Thank you girls for your concern...sometimes when the craft punch is overly used, it does tend to get broken in the end...especially since it's been dropped several times off the table too hehehe....:)

I went to two craft stores here in town today and while I was there, I looked for a little flower punch but didn't see anything close, esp in size...everything here is gigantic.

Sandi...you are such a sweetie!! No worries dear...I'm hopeful to find that little flower punch here in Alor Setar, but if there isn't any, I'll search for it when I go to Kuala Lumpur again in February. Thank you so much dear!! So thoughtful of you!

am not a card maker, but i also want die-cutter! ofcoz i have few projects in mind, jus in case i have one. how much would a die-cutter cost ya?

things happen for a reason. there must be a reason for that puncher to broke. maybe, it hinting you to go for some outing, shopping for new puncher, sight-seeing, friends (future-friends) meeting, etc. Hihi.

Mango....I nak kena kumpul duit dulu laa...ehehehe. I tak penah tengok die cutter tu kat mana2 kedai di KL, tapi selalu tengok kat magazine jer. I checked the price online, harganya beratus ringgit gak la kalau nak yg good quality punya with many functions.

Ha'ah mungkin la kut...memang kena beli yg baru...and memang nak kena pegi outing pun ehehehe...but lately been so busy with work tak sempat nak pegi mana2. Insyaallah I will get a break after CNY...hehehe....
