Winner of AJL 26

Finally last night the questions that kept playing in everyone's mind had been answered. Hafiz is the winner of Anugerah Juara Lagu 26. I was so happy because I predicted the song would win and it did. For me it's the best song in the competition. He also won for best vocals. He deserved it! He sang with a lot of emotions and full of feeling I can't describe. 

When I first heard the song last year, I fell in love with it instantly. The lyrics are so beautiful, the video was beautiful.....I'd burst into tears every time I listen to the song. Congratulations to Hafiz for singing it so well and also not forgetting the composer M. Nasir and lyricist Budi Hikayat for coming up with this beautiful song. They all deserved to win it!! :) Yayyyyy!!!!

This is one of THE song I love listening to whenever I feel a little stressed out. Best played in the car while driving on the highway! Yeah!! A little stressed I have been the whole day today and this is just the song I want to listen to tonight. Turn on the high volume on the speakers and enjoyyyyyyyy!!!!!! :D

The first time I heard this song sang live by Anuar on TV, I was blown away. It's such a beautiful song. So soothing to the ears. I gotta say, he is one of my favourite male singers from Malaysia. Very classy, very powerful voice. You can only expect the best from him. :)

 

(Where Do I Begin) Love Story - Andy Williams

This song is a request from a dear friend of mine who is a fan of Andy Williams, just like me. :) This particular song is actually the theme song from the film "Love Story", a 1970 romantic drama film that was considered as one of the most romantic film of all time. I tried to find a Youtube video of Andy singing this song but couldn't find a good one so in the end I decided to choose this one instead. This song is of course one of my favourites from Andy as well. :)

I still can't believe that Andy's real name is Howard Andrew Williams hehe....how cute is that? :) And he is still active in singing up to this day. Amazing!

If someone were to ask me which one I love best.......his voice when he was younger or when he was older.....I would definitely choose when he was younger......he sounded so much better at this age. Can feel the energy in his voice so strong. So innocent..... :)

Old Beirut - Ron Goodwin

I had two songs from Goodwin that I would love to post here today, either "Old Beirut" or "Return To Paradise", but I think this one suits how I'm feeling right now perfectly. Love listening to this with the cool weather around me. :)
