SUU BALM Product Review

Product review! Yes! A product worth reviewing. I just couldn't wait to tell the world about this product I've just discovered. It's probably been around for quite some time already but I never knew about it till just recently. In the beginning I was a bit skeptical to try it out but since it was introduced by someone on Instagram  (Rocyie Wong) whom I kinda trust because she has a similar problem like I do, I thought why not, just give it a shot, who knows the products might suit me.

It just so happen that SUU BALM is giving free samples for the public to try out, so without giving it a lot of thought I immediately went to their website to fill up the forms. You can click on the link HERE to request for free samples. About two weeks after that I received the free samples. The first thing I tried was the body moisturizer, I was really really surprised with the body moisturizer because I didn't have to use a lot of it, just a little goes a long way. It's very cooling because it has menthol in it and it's not oily at all. Best of all it has ceramide!! Ceramide is well known to play an essential role in structuring and maintaining the water permeability barrier function of the skin.

After just a few minutes applying it on my eczema and on other areas of my skin where it's itchy and dry, there's this very cooling sensation and it feels so good! No more feeling itchy for a long period of time. Amazing!! I can now sleep soundly at night without having to scratch my feet like crazy. No more swollen feet too!

No other product gives the same effect on my skin. Believe me, I've been searching like crazy and spent so much money for that lotion or cream that would suit my skin problem for years but I could never find one that would actually do anything for my skin. In fact, some actually make my skin worse than it already is. Come to a point, I got so scared of applying anything on my skin.

The body wash is amazing too!! Love it just the same. The only thing that bothers me is the price. I wish it was more affordable. But I believe that it's worth every cent. You don't need to use a lot of it to see the effects. What's important is that it works! I hope more people are aware of it and give it a try. I did and I love it. Thank you SUU BALM!!! ♡♡

Bat repellent

We are having problems dealing with bats at home. They visit us every night and poop at a specific spot nearby the entrance of our house. It's so annoying! We've tried all sorts of  bat repellent including sulfur and moth balls that stink like hell. But it didn't work. The idea is to have something around the area that stinks so that the bats will be so put off by it and make a U-Turn and fly elsewhere instead of hanging around at our house for the night. 

Hey, I don't mind them hanging around......but please....please don't poop! Please, we have enough food at home as well, so please don't leave us any leftover fruits for us from your dinner. :P

One of my Mom's friends suggested we hang some stinky chillies at the place where they love to hang out. It seems that this method would work. It did! They did stop coming over for a few days. But when the smell  of the chillies goes away after some time, they would make a visit to our house again. I wish there is some other way of dealing with this problem other than hanging those stinky chillies. Anybody out there have a better idea/suggestions?? Do let me know! Gracias! 

J' Amelia Boutique

There is a new fashion boutique in town at Kompleks Perniagaan Sultan Abdul Hamid called J'Amelia Boutique that has just opened for business on the 1st of July 2010. I had the opportunity to do a survey just a few days after it's launching. J stands for Jamil...who is the owner's husband and her name is Amelia. 

I bought my "baju kurung moden" there for Raya recently. A new baju raya at last, after years and years of recycling old ones from my wardrobe hahahahha. I really love the material of the new baju kurung moden so much! And the color is gorgeous hehehe.....well, in my opinion la....hehehehe. When I first tried it, it fitted me perfectly as if it was tailored made for me. I am not the type who likes to buy baju kurung off the rack. I usually go to a tailor and custom made one for me because it's so difficult to get a baju kurung that actually fits me well. For years now I have been so lazy to go to a tailor and make a new one for myself. I've been to the fabric shop a few times before  though to find fabric for my baju kurung but every time I go there, I feel lost! I could never decide on a specific pattern to buy. So I always end up going home empty handed. 

So what made me change my mind this year? What made me buy a new baju raya?  I guess the  color of the fabric that I saw on that baju kurung moden blew me away. The design itself is not even fancy at all.....it's so simple.....but when I saw it.....I knew I had to buy it. I just knew. I had to own it. Usually girls would love to have baju kurung with tons of sequins and beads on them. But not me. I'm the type who prefers simple yet beautiful baju kurung. It has to be comfortable. I have to be able to move around comfortably in it. And at the same time looking good in it too. :)
