Lee Dewyze wins!!!!!!!

Who won American Idol Season 9?? It was exactly like how I predicted......I knew it!! I knew it!!! I knew it was going to be LEE DEWYZE!!! Yeaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyhhhhh!! Woooohoooooooo!!!! I'm so happy about it!!!! Yes! Yes! Yes!!

I was kinda worried about the results today......because Lee didn't perform as well as I hoped he would yesterday.....Crystal Bowersox seemed to have more impact whenever she performs except that her songs didn't really connect to me as much as Lee's......and I was thrilled that he had chosen songs that I love love love to hear.....like for instance "The Boxer" - Simon and Garfunkel..."Everybody Hurts" - R.E.M.....and the final one would be "Beautiful Day" - U2......I love U2 so much and it was great when he sang that song at the end of the show.  I noticed that in this year's American Idol finale......the final two contestants didn't have a "new" winning song to sing unlike previous years. I wonder why....?? I only realized it when Lee sang "Beautiful Day" at the end of the show......that was when it hit me that they didn't have a new song. Can't help but wonder why though.......since every year they would have one for each contestant. I guess "Beautiful Day" will be his single once he wins the Idol.... :)



What made me most happy in this year's finale was the fact that there were so many celebrities performing during the finale along with the contestants......so many big names entertained the night away .......it started off with the Bee Gees singing "How Deep Is Your Love"....with Aaron Kelly and Siobhan Magnus......wow...that song surely brought back a lot of good memories....I love the Bee Gees a lot!!! I memorize almost all their songs! They sounded great singing live!

A few other names I would like to mention here is Bret Michaels who sang the song "Every Rose Has it's Thorn"....with Casey James.....and then there was Joe Cocker singing "I'll Get By With A Little Help From My Friends" with Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze......and then....who could forget Alanis Morrisette!!! Wow....I love her to bits!!! I love her song "Ironic" and "You Oughta Know".....gave me goose bumps I tell ya!

One of my favourites of the night would be when Janet Jackson sang.......I've never heard of that song but it sounded so beautiful......I quickly googled about it later after the show to find out the title....it was called "Nothing". She sang a medley composed of  "Again."....her latest single "Nothing" and finally her classic hit "Nasty Boys" at the Nokia Theater. I was in tears when I heard her sing "Nothing".....she sounded so much like Michael Jackson.....had goose bumps....beautiful voice..... :)

 

This year's American Idol is the final year for Simom Cowell......he won't be around for the next season.....gosh....that would be strange not having him around to judge the contestants.....I guess 10 years in the show was enough for him.....and it was the right time for him to leave. Will miss him though....I bet a lot of people are wondering who will replace him next season. :). I loved how they honored him in the  final show.....lovely...nicely done. :)  Even Paula Abdul had super nice things to say about Simon.....gosh, Paula was super adorable with her pink mini dress.....she looked so cute!

I really enjoyed the final result show tonight.....so much so that I viewed it twice on Astro - Star World  hehehehe......all because of the celebrities I suppose....not so much because I wanted to know who won because I already found out who won it online hahahaha......Yahoo!News gave it away this afternoon.......and I quickly informed my Mom about it.....she was as happy as I was when I told her Lee won! I'm just smiling ear to ear tonight :). All smiles!

Casey James is out!

Hmmmph! Looks like what I predicted came true.......Casey James is out of American Idol.....and will not be in the final two of American Idol Season 9 :(. Boooohoooohohoooooooooooo!!!!

I don't get it.......why can't he be in the finals.....he is equally good......I don't like Crystal Bowersox.....is it just me?????? Next week we will see the battle between Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze......who do you think will be the next American Idol???? I have a prediction on who will win it........and it's LEE DEWYZE!!!! Wanna bet??? hahahhahahaha.........I think he has what it takes to win it.....I know he has lots of fans too.....I donno....I can feel it in my bones.....he is going to win it! LOL!

American Idol : Michael Lynche is out!

It's getting close and closer to the finals.......I wonder who is going to be in the final two of American Idol season 9. Last week, we saw Michael Lynche got voted out......hmmm.....my Mom and I was hoping that Crystal Bowersox would be the one to leave. Personally.....we don't like her hehehehe......I donno...it's just something about her that somehow annoys us. But people seem to like her a lot. So that's why she is still in. :P

I was kinda disappointed that Big Mike was voted off since he did quite well with the song he sang with Casey James. The solo however was not as good......well.....nobody in my opinion can sing a Michael Jackson's song hehehehe......not even Big Mike. I wished that he had picked a more suitable song for himself. He just didn't capture the essence of the song....the spirit of it.....the emotion.....eh...apa la yang aku merepek nih.....ye laaa....I mean....he sort of like didn't really feel the song in other words. I didn't feel it from him. Not like when Michael Jackson sang it.......I cried when he sang that song...."Will You Be There".......such a touching song.....brought me to tears every time I listen to it.

I get the feeling that the final two might be Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox.........I think the voters would pick them to be in the finals........but I really really wish that Casey James would be in the final two as well......I think he is an underdog.......I never really liked him before until recently.......I find that he really listens to what the judges advised him and he plays the guitar really really well......wicked man! I don't like Lee Dewyze that much......he always seem so blur blur one! I don't care what people say about his voice......no matter how good he sounds, I still think he just does not have the charisma. And Crystal seems kinda arrogant hahahaha......perasan satu macam jer......menyampah gak tengok kekadang tu. :P

You know what......I still think that Andrew Garcia should have been in the finals......to bad he got voted out earlier......he has a one of a kind voice....and at least he had the charisma! huhuhuhu......so sad....too bad. I wonder what's going to happen this week......Please Casey.......do your best!!!! I want you to be in the finals!!!!!!!!!

Aaron Kelly is out....

Here I am resting for a while sipping my 3rd glass of chocolate drink for the day before I start working on the birthday card I'm supposed to finish up by tomorrow morning. I've already found out why I'm feeling so moody these past few days......thank God it's nothing serious hahahaaha......sometimes I just get moody for no reason....cry for no reason......it's stupid but it happens.....and I just let it out.....I feel so much better after wards. However, indulging good food helps too.......especially cream puffs hahahaha.....it works every time :)

I've already drew a picture of a "princess" last night......well....sort of...hehehehe......she is supposed to look like a princess so to speak. Well, you'll be able to see the birthday card by tomorrow.....I'll be posting about it in my handmade card blog. :) I have no idea how to do it yet......just hentam sajalah hehehehe......I always hentam jer....but of course there are some thinking involved....not 100% hentam....errrr....lets just say that there is about 40% of hentam involved hahahaha....... :P

I watched American Idol last Wednesday and Thursday.......and in the result show.....little Aaron Kelly was voted out. I think it was high time he was voted out.....it was kinda sad though to see him go because I like him. He was not the best....but I like looking at his kind face. I still think that Andrew Garcia should have been in the top 5 and be in the finals but unfortunately that didn't happen. Honestly I don't like the top 4 now......they don't seem as good as the previous American Idols contestants I do think that this year's American Idol is one of the weakest perhaps.....donno la.....I'm just not loving it as much as the contestants in previous years.

Below is the last song Aaron performed in American Idol......this week was Frank Sinatra week and he sang Fly Me To The Moon, which is one of my favourite songs from Frank Sinatra. Harry Connick Jr. was their mentor this week and he was hilarious! Never knew how funny that guy can be! Loved his songs back when I was still schooling.......awwwww he was so handsome back then....still is now actually hehehehe.....a little old but still good looking. :)

All of the contestants in American Idol can sing......they can REALLY SING man! So even though they get voted out, I hope there will be a lot of doors opening up for them in future. They are all special in their own way.  Enjoy the song! :)

Tim Urban and Siobhan Magnus was voted out....huhuhuhu

Anybody here fans of the American Idol?? I am.....and so is my Mom hehehehe......we are into the zone every week when the show is on. We even watch the repeats of the show at other times of the day. Well, we can do that because of Astro hehehehe. Astro will repeat the show a few times a day so it's great especially if the songs were our favorites for that week. Last week Tim Urban was voted out and this week I can't believe that Siobhan Magnus was voted out.....I guess it is inevitable because there are only 6 finalist now in American Idol Season 9 and one of them is bound to be voted out each week until they come to the final two. I wonder who will be the next American Idol......it's so exciting!!! 

I was thinking in my head that Siobhan would make it to the final two.....her being voted out really came as a surprise to me especially since she was given good reviews from the judges this week except for Simon who said that she sounded in some parts, like someone who was giving birth!! Gosh! How could he! So bad! Boo! I thought she sounded good.....huhuhu. I love Tim too.....he has a great smile and a great voice....I thought he was doing so well and it was a surprise for me too when he got voted out.....it just doesn't seem to make sense. People are just not voting hard enough for them. I can't vote coz I'm not an American hahahaha....too bad.

Andrew Garcia

Andrew Garcia is out??!!!! Oh GOD!!! He was eliminated along with Katie Stevens on American Idol yesterday.....huhuhuhuhu why why why?????? I feel so sad about that because I really adore his voice. I must say, he has a unique voice and sounds beautiful compared to the other contestants. I really feel that he deserves to stay on till the finals.

But what can I do.....I can only hope that someday he will have the opportunity to make his own record. I would love to hear his voice on the radio. I wouldn't mind buying his CD too hehehehe... :) Looks like  from now onwards, American Idol will never be the same again without him around to entertain us. But I'm still hopeful that my other American Idol favorite which is Siobhan Magnus will make it to the finals! Love her. She looks commercial....has a beautiful voice and has good showmanship too. I've always love watching her perform. She has that package. Oh well.....we will just have to wait and see what happens next!
