It's been 3 years since my last check up at the optical shop. I finally went to see an optometrist this afternoon to have my eyes checked and also to look for a new pair of glasses. My glasses is so worn out and in bad shape for quite a while now. I have had it fixed so many times before. But I got it fixed again this afternoon. I wasn't planning on fixing it since I wanted to get a new one but one of the staff there was so concerned by the way it looked on me. It was not sitting properly on my face. Not leveled she said. Like a "see saw" I suppose hahahahaha!! And because of it, it was hurting my nose as well. So she fixed it for me, free of charge ^.^. Yay!
I had a good time actually at the optical shop. The optometrist was so friendly, so chatty (felt like I was talking to an old friend of mine hihihi) and the staff there really did helped me find a pair of glasses that I really liked. I always have a hard time choosing a design that suits my face. I almost wanted to change my mind and go home instead of buying a new one but luckily one of the senior staff there helped me choose a design that I was really satisfied with. So I'm really happy with it. I can't wait to get it in 3 days time.
OK! Now for the good news! After the checkup, the optometrist told me that I don't have astigmatism anymore!! Wow! It's a miracle! I was having it for so many years and now suddenly it's cured! I am so thankful to God for this wonderful news. I never knew that astigmatism can be cured. I suppose it has something to do with the things I've been taking for the past few years. I have been taking so many kinds of natural/herbal supplements, eating so many kinds of vegetables that might have helped and God knows what else that helped contribute to this cure. Whatever it is, I hope it will continue to help me with my other illnesses as well.
I'm just so happy about it. It may seem like nothing much to some but for me, it's a wonderful news and I'm feeling blessed indeed to receive it. Alhamdulillah. :)

Actually the optometrist did not help me cure my astigmatism.....it was cured probably because of the supplements I was taking before.
I am very curious about your diet/supplement regimen. Maybe sometime you will write a blog about that and if you had changed anything else, like be outside less in the sun and avoided sitting next to windows, whatever that might have helped heal your eyes. I am very happy for you! Congratulations! My mother, every time she has an eye check up, her doctor says her eyes are better, her prescription is reduced. He is always so surprised!
