Vegetarian spaghetti

For berbuka today we had vegetarian spaghetti again. It tasted so good yesterday that we made it again today. Plus it's healthy for us too. :) I somehow have adapted to this kinda meal since I lived on my own in KL before. It was something I found quite easy to make and plus it tasted real good. I believe it had something to do with the celery. The celery makes all the difference in taste. Oh ya....not forgetting the carrots. Love them too. No.....not because I was born in the year of the Rabbit ok?? :D

It's almost 12.00 midnight and I'm still wide awake. What a day today was.  A lot has happened that kept  me thinking how words...words can really hurt. Intentionally or unintentionally. Lost for words I am now because of those words......... :(

Hi, Lin.

Do not fret - those are only words. They cannot hurt you. Since they were not kind words, no use wasting time thinking about them.

Some people do not think before they open their mouth. It is a real shame as kind words are so much easier to say than hurtful ones.

Take care,
Barb

Hi Barb....thank you. I know....and I have not wasted time thinking too much about those hurtful words I received. Sometimes I like writing about what happen as a form of letting go. I write it here now and the next day I forget about it. It's as simple as that. It's like therapy for me.

Yes, it is important to make peace with our hurts.

Let them go - they are now the past. Never go back - always go forward. The past is gone and the future is now where we should be.

I agree with you on that. It's very important to make peace with our hurts. If we don't do it, we can never move on forward. Always stuck in the past and feeling bad about it. Nothing good will come out of it if we do that to ourselves.

Hi, Lin.

Please remember one thing - the past is the past. It is not bad nor good really. It is necessary for you and I and all of us to do things and make decisions good or bad as we label them in order for us to move forward.

Just think back on anything you have done in the past. If you had the chance to take it back or re do something, you would not be where you are today. You may not even be designing cards which you love. So, all of those so called bad decisions that you think you made up to this point, were in fact, very necessary for you. So, they were very good decisions and you should be thankful you made them.

If you think this way you will always be at peace.

There is no bad decision. The only bad decision is one where we do nothing to move forward because we are stuck in the past crying about something that happened a long time ago.

May you always be at peace, my friend and may you always move forward because so much wonderful stuff awaits you there. But you must take each step, good or bad, happy or sad, healthy or painful or you will not get there. Do not dwell on the negatives as they will prevent you from your journey. Simply ride them out as on a wave.

Look at each of these as a stepping stone that will take you to the next road in life. Embrace them all, good or bad. They are given to us for a reason. Look deep inside and you will find the reason.

If you read any of Wayne Dyer books, this is the message he gives there.

Take care,
Barb
